Zentry’s Ragnarok Landverse launching on Ronin in Q1 2025

Web3 game company Zentry is collaborating with Sky Mavis to bring Ragnarok Landverse to Ronin.

In partnership with Ragnarok publisher Gravity, Zentry has combined elements from the classic MMORPG with added web3 features such as asset ownership and community engagement. It’s claimed its soft launch has garnered over 400,000 players and generated $15 million in revenue from in-game items and NFTs.

It now joins Ronin in the hope to leverage the network’s web3 native audience.

As part of the partnership, Zentry is also becoming a node validator on Ronin. In addition, Zentry has onboarded Ronin to its player portal Nexus Season 1.

Zentry founder and CEO Jarindr Thitadilaka commented, “Our partnership with Sky Mavis goes beyond launching Ragnarok Landverse on Ronin. Together, we’re paving the way for future Biggest gaming IPs to transition into web3. By focusing on engaging gameplay, global accessibility, and blockchain-powered asset ownership – without relying on incentives like tokens – Ragnarok Landverse demonstrates that web3 gaming success is possible through quality alone.”

Sky Mavis Co-Founder and CEO Trung Nguyen commented, “Having been a Ragnarok player myself, I understand the deep nostalgia and connection this game evokes in its global community. Zentry’s Ragnarok Landverse – with its massive player base and $15 million in NFT sales – proves that web3 gaming is about creating experiences that players truly love, enabling players to earn and collect.”

“We’re thrilled to help expand Ragnarok Landverse to an even larger, more engaged audience.”
