Millions of AI agents coming to Ronin games, thanks to NRN deal
Sky Mavis has signed a partnership with AI platform NRN Agents, which is created by AI Arena developer ArenaX Labs. The deal will see NRN’s AI agents being introduced on Ronin during Q1 2025.
The integration will start with proof-of-concept demonstrations in select games on Ronin to show how agents can enhance gameplay. Optimized for dynamic, multiplayer environments, the agents are suitable for any game genre. Eventually, “millions of AI gaming agents” will be deployed across Ronin’s expanding game ecosystem.
Part of Ronin’s wider AI vision and expansion plans, Sky Mavis’ director of bizdev Kathleen Osgood commented on X, “Ronin will be the home to AI X Gaming X Memes… Gaming ecosystem will be on a new level via AI integrations and experiments.”
Providing an opportunity to participate in the training of NRN’s sophisticated AI agents, ArenaX’s flagship game AI Arena will launch an introductory campaign aimed at the Ronin community. In Q2, it’s expected that the NRN SDK will be made available more widely to Ronin studios, in conjunction with the network becoming permissionless.
As for its recent emphasis on memes, Ronin has also announced Tama Meme, the first fair launch token launchpad on the network, which has been developed by web3 native Moku. Launched on 21st January, in its first week Tama saw over 7,000 tokens launched and nearly $25 million traded among 69,000 token holders.
