Web3 horror FPS The Bornless coming to Xbox
After the recent news of AMGI’s My Pet Hooligan coming to Xbox, another web3 game has announced it’s landing on the platform.
UK based Cathedral Studios has announced its horror FPS The Bornless has been accepted into Xbox’s program for independent game developers, joining a small selection of other web3 titles such as Off The Grid and Moonray.
Several years in development, The Bornless recently ran its A Storm is Coming playtest. During the two-day event, a record breaking number of players turned out, from both web2 and web3, according to the dev.
As for gameplay, the test debuted The Storm, a new feature in the game’s Ritual mode. Another key focus was polishing the final moments of a match.
Crunching the numbers, the playtest showed an increasing anticipation for the game, with growth both in terms of streamers and daily active players.
