Boomland’s Season 2 airdrop campaign for its BOOM token within browser and mobile action RPG Hunters On-Chain has kicked off; this time as one of Game7’s Lootdrops.

Running for six weeks, this second season allows players to earn XP as they complete various quests in Hunters On-Chain including in the Hunt, Boss Battle and Bounty Hunter modes. As well as BoomLand XP, players earn Game7 credits too, which is Game7’s own off-chain rewards for engagement and quest participation.

As with Boomland’s Season 1, the action is all about ranking on the Hunters On-Chain leaderboard with the top 20% of players earning BOOM Bags. As the BOOM token isn’t yet live on Immutable’s zkEVM blockchain, which the game is operating on, it means Boomland isn’t giving away BOOM right now, but instead these BOOM Bag NFTs contains BOOM tokens.

However, these NFTs are tradeable, like any other Hunter NFT. Players can also choose to burn their BOOM Bags to convert the BOOM to offchain in-game tokens, which are used to level up in-game hunter characters.

Furthermore, there’s a faction-based leaderboard, with the three top factions sharing additional BOOM Bags amongst their members.

In total, Boomland is giving away $1 million-worth of BOOM prior to the token’s TGE.
