What games are coming to Igloo’s Abstract Chain?

Preparing for its mainnet launch in January 2025, Abstract Chain has seen a growing momentum since its announcement in 2024. 

Developed by Pudgy Penguins head company Igloo Inc., which acquired the team behind L2 blockchain Frame in 2024 to realise its vision, Abstract is a consumer-first blockchain designed for apps such as gaming, social platforms, NFTs, and prediction markets. An Ethereum L2, it’s built on top of zkSync’s ZK stack.

Operating under the slogan “powering the next generation of consumer crypto”, chain abstraction and simplifying blockchain adoption are core components of the Abstract vision. Its integrated wallet solution is AGW, Abstract Global Wallet, which allows users to log in using email, socials, or passkeys.

In terms of games, Pudgy Penguins’ inaugural game Pudgy World and the Pudgy Vibes TCG are among the blockchain’s growing portfolio. Some other prominent titles from third-party developers include Playember, Onchain Heroes, Dogami, ChronoForge, 77-Bit, and Gigaverse.

In a recent announcement, D20 Labs has also unveiled it’s bringing its Sugartown platform, including social poker game Royal Nutz Poker Club, to Abstract.
