NXI launches Telegram tap game ahead of token launch

UK studio NXI has launched a new Telegram game alongside a $500,000 airdrop campaign ahead of its NXI token launch.

Called Billionaire’s Path: Build Your Fortune, the game is a hypercasual wealth building game where players can earn virtual dollars by tapping. Other ways to earn is through features like a slot machine, investing in businesses, daily rewards, and by inviting friends to the game. 

NXI CEO Liam Bacon commented on the launch, “The NXI team have been hard at work to publish Billionaire’s Path: Build Your Fortune and it’s exciting to see the game actualized. We believe this game will be a crucial step forward in building awareness for NXI and in growing both our community and gaming ecosystem.”

Building momentum ahead of its forthcoming token launch, in conjunction with rolling out the game the company also unveiled an airdrop campaign, entailing a prize pool of $500,000 worth of NXI tokens. The airdrop is said to run until December 2024, although no set dates have yet been confirmed.

In terms of its wider ecosystem, NXI’s flagship title Everdawn Champions recently landed on Epic Games Store. The studio also recently announced it had raised $2 million in seed funding, although the exact date of the funding is unclear.
