Forkast prediction market and its CGX token launch on Ronin

One of the first consumer apps to launch on Ronin, prediction market Forkast and its ecosystem token CGX, are now live.

Following the rise of prediction markets such as Polymarket and Myriad, Forkast enables users to participate in prediction markets based on relevant topics spanning from gaming and esports events, to web3 assets, memecoins, and breaking news.

Its timely launch is targeted particularly at the current gaming and meme-focused internet culture. 

Developed by esports platform Community Gaming, which has integrated web3 wallets and automated payments, Forkast now also provides gasless transactions powered by the Ronin Waypoint wallet solution.

Forkast’s integration with Ronin also entails a Ronin-centric market, letting users place predictions on growth metrics, token prices, and other trends on the network.

Powered by Community Gaming’s CGX token, which launches alongside Forkast, users will also be incentivized to stake CGX in order to earn weekly loot boxes containing assets including CGX and prediction credits. Staking also allows users to create new prediction markets, get access to CG+ tournaments and leagues, as well as offer future governance in Community Gaming’s forthcoming PVP chain.

Users can earn CGX through weekly leaderboards that track prediction performance, daily trading activity, and by competing in select gaming tournaments.
