Pixelverse launches closed beta browser game, expands beyond Telegram

Pixelverse, the creator of the popular PixelTap mini-game, has launched the closed beta of its highly anticipated MMORPG web browser game, marking a significant milestone in web3 gaming.

This release is the first project to implement TON microtransactions outside of Telegram, linking Pixelverse’s large Telegram user base to an expanded gaming experience beyond the platform.

The beta release introduces a seamless connection between Pixelverse’s 10 million monthly active Telegram users and a new web3 gaming experience through their browser game.

This marks the first time that TON microtransactions have been utilized on a platform outside of Telegram, enhancing user experience by allowing players to make in-game purchases directly in the browser.

Since its launch, PixelTap has become one of the top mini-games on Telegram, leveraging its integration with the TON blockchain.

In August, Pixelverse launched the largest profile picture (PFP) NFT collection on TON, attracting over 234,000 investors.

Its subsequent Bots NFT collection garnered an additional 40,000 investors, further solidifying its position in the web3 space.
