XPLA reveals 9 game slate for 2025 with Mad World PvP out on 17th December
Gaming-centric blockchains have continued to see steady growth in terms of new titles throughout 2024. Immutable currently ranks top in terms of quantity, claiming it’s signed over 250 games in 2024 alone. Ronin has also expanded significantly and onboarded around 20 games this year, a trend that’s likely to pick up further as the network becomes fully permissionless in Q1 2025.
One of the game-specific blockchains also experiencing recent growth is Com2uS’ L1 XPLA. On top of announcing a $10 million accelerator program for AI driven web3 games, it’s also launched web3 community hub PLAY3 and its associated Hello PAL project.
Looking towards 2025, XPLA is set to expand further, with a diverse range of games onboarding the ecosystem.
From a post-apocalyptic shooter to AI driven TCGs, each of the following titles are set to be fully integrated into XPLA in the coming year.
- Mad World Mobile – a post-apocalyptic shooter from Carbonated Inc. Ahead of this integration, the game is launching web3 and AI-powered companion app Mad World PvP on 17th December.
- Battle Child – a new action-RPG and multiplayer online battle arena game.
- Bung-O-Pang Tycoon – a virtual building and puzzle game revolving around the Korean fish-shaped treat bung-o-pang.
- Vigilante – a mobile-based action RPG including dungeons, co-op mode, bounty missions, rewards, and more.
- Meta Match – a TCG featuring AI-generated cards based on users’ NFTs.
- PLAY3 – XPLA’s social community hub.
- Diary of My Language of Flower – a series of mini-games designed around virtual flowerscapes.
- Puzzle Skygalleon – a strategic PVP puzzle game based on the Skygalleon IP.
- PLA WAR – a prediction community game where players use XPLA tokens to place bets on battles.
