So, in case you missed it, the Kratos Gaming Network (formerly IndiGG) has decided to make Bahrain the new home for its regional headquarters. Yeah, because who wouldn’t want to set up shop in a country known for its “rapidly evolving tech ecosystem”? This move is all about tapping into the MENA region’s rapidly growing gaming and Web3 sectors.

Leading the charge is Faiz Al Wari, who’s going to try to unite gaming communities and publishers with some fancy web3-based universal gamer reputation framework (try saying that five times fast) and a Proof of Gamer user identity system. All the buzzwords are here, folks.

Why Bahrain, you ask? Well, co-founder Manish Agarwal mentioned that Bahrain’s been super chill with KGeN, treating them like partners rather than just “vendors or service providers.” He also pointed out the low costs and the fact that the locals speak English—seriously, Riyadh and Dubai must be getting jealous by now.

But wait, there’s more! KGeN is already eyeing local and global partnerships, especially in the realms of AI and Web3. So if you thought Web3 gaming wasn’t going to make it, maybe this will change your mind. And hey, with the MENA gaming market projected to hit $2.8 billion by 2026, that’s one hell of a growth opportunity.

Oh, and if you're in the area, the Dubai GameExpo Summit returns on May 7-8, 2025. Maybe KGeN will be there rubbing elbows with all the cool AI and Web3 geeks? Let’s see if this Bahrain move turns out to be the next big thing or just another regional play. Thoughts?

With MENA gaming on the rise, KGeN setting up HQ in Bahrain makes strategic sense—low costs, English-speaking base, and growing support for innovation. Smart positioning for 2026.

Universal gamer reputation framework? Proof of Gamer ID? Sounds like a Web3 bingo card. Bahrain’s a bold choice though—hope it’s not just buzzwords and big talk.
