Elon Musk To End Hashtag Feature On X Amid US Elections

Elon Musk’s recent action to end a feature on X has sparked global discussions amid the ongoing U.S. elections. Notably, the podcast Scam Economy host Matt Binder recently took to X, stating, “Elon Musk’s X goes full pro-Trump with custom hashtag emoji icons.” However, Ashley St. Clair, a renowned journalist, clarified that the icon appears as a part of a paid ads campaign and that any advertiser can do a custom hashtag campaign with a custom image. Musk reaffirmed the journalist’s statements and will stop the hashtag-related feature on X. Also, Musk has recently denied a $45 million donation to a pro-Trump PAC.
