Fableborne season 3 generates $540,000 from 149,000 players

 

 

 

After its recent migration to Ronin, Fableborne is wrapping up 2024 with a successful closure of season 3.

 

A blend of action RPG and strategic raid and base-building, during season 3 Fableborne allowed players more control over customization and the strategy of their kingdom defenses.

 

This is what’s contributed to its high engagement and stickiness, according to UK-based developer Pixion Games

 

In total 149,000 players participated in the 18-day long playtest, a 44% increase from the previous season. In terms of daily active users, it peaked at 108,000, among which the average daily playtime was 3 hours and 9 minutes. D1 retention was 70.8%, and D14 retention 37.3%. 

 

 

 

 

For the first time, the game also attempted a model for monetization. As a result, it saw 22,150 Fortune Passes being sold, generating 221,000 RON in revenue, worth around $540,000.

 

Looking ahead to 2025, as the seasons progress, players can expect bigger gameplay updates as well as more experiments in regards to Fableborne‘s web3 elements such as its POWER token and NFTs.
